Synopsis: Set in the early 1900s around the Colonial Sugar Refining Company's Lautoka Sugar mill in Fiji,'A for Apple" is a short film that explores the transactional and exploitative nature of relationships between an indentured woman, working as a nanny, Appellamma and an old overseer, Coolumber Walters. The narrative revolves on the consequences of their relationship on each other and those around them.
